Mini-Van?

I've always been sort of Anti-Mini-Van.

They just always seemed...well...old.

Once I start popping out babies, the hubs and I plan on buying a Chevy Tahoe {not too big, not too small, but juuuuust right}.

However, this hilarious video now has me waffling...

What is your current {or future} "Mom-mobile"?

i have always been anti-mini van too but now that i have a baby i can see how great it would be to have one. we have a honda civic and our stroller barely fits in the trunk.. although we did get the cadillac of strollers.. i want a SUV and i'll just die if i end up with a mini-van :)

This video kills me! I've always liked vans, especially the Sienna, but my husband is anti-van. We just bought a Yukon and LOVE it. You will love a Tahoe. I settled (ok not really, love my Yukon) and we bought this and still don't have kiddos...hopefully soon!

Yeah, I kind of thought the same thing. But when you have 3 or more kids it starts to start looking good. We have a Honda Pilot, and love it! Love this video too, soo funny.

Ha! My friend totally showed that to me for the first time the other day. I thought it was especially funny since that's the car she has. They do get the job done :)

I have been in love with this video for about a month now. And to top it off . . . I do drive a minivan. But my sister actually drives a swagger wagon, SO freaking jealous of her!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the best marketing campaigns I've seen in a long long time.

I wanted to follow up my comment, sorry!

I was petrified of the minivan. I had a cute little Jetta when I had my daughter. It broke down and was going to cost thousands to fix. A family member had an extra vehicle(the minivan) and donated it to us. I loathed it at first. But I can not deny that I love it now. Its ugly as a three day old turd, but it is so so so nice to be able to fit everyone/everything and still have room. So I just put on my cute little DKNY glasses, crank up my pathetic stereo and pretend I'm in a swagger wagon. HALLA!!!!

I have always sworn I will NEVER drive a mini-van, and have vowed that I'll be an SUV mom all the way; however, this is genious marketing on their part! They ALMOST make mini-vans seem cool, haha!

I feel exactly the same way. We're planning on upgrading to a larger Jeep than the Cherokee... but a mini van looks nice when taking children 2 and 3 (and following) into consideration! At least there are more un-mini-van-ish options out now! haha.

i was not picturing me in a mini van so i found my fave current ride at the mall (they had it parked in the middle i guess to market to people like me ;)
it's a mini mini van. (mazda 5) super gas efficient, handy, and not too geeky
