Scratch That

Well, I didn't get any of the dresses mentioned in this post. Actually, I didn't buy a dress at all! Half of the dresses were nowhere to be found and the other half looked different in person or just weren't the right fit for me {Shelby, I loooved the one-shoulder dress, but I have giraffe legs and it was way too short! dang it}.

Instead, I shopped their $1{ish} section and came home with a bunch of adorable 4th of July themed plates, cups, and napkins for when our friends come up to visit in July! It was just as fun as dress shopping! :)

Summer Dresses: 2012

Two posts in one day! It's a new record. ;)

Last year, I had you guys vote on which dress I should purchase for the summer. I ended up going with option #6:

It was perfect for strolling around downtown Annapolis in the morning and spending the rest of the day at the Chesapeake Bay Wine Festival.

Wedding Photography

I've been neglecting my blog again...but this time, I have a good excuse!

I have spent the past few weeks getting ready for my first solo wedding photography gig! The wedding was this past weekend and it was amazing. The wedding was beautiful and it was such a great experience!

Dirty Little Secret

I have a dirty little secret...our Dining Room Photo Gallery still contains Christmas pictures! *gasp* Oh, the humanity! Granted, I love the quotes and pictures filling each frame...but it's APRIL. I have taken so ridiculously long trying to decide what to replace the Christmas decor with that I missed Valentine's Day pics, St. Patrick's Day pics, and Easter pics!

I figure that by the time I get around to deciding what to fill the frames with, printing them, and actually re-hanging the frames, it will be closer to Summer than Spring! So, I am going with colors that would work for either season.

Ben is currently at my sister's brother-in-law's house, helping him put up a fence. So, while I'm home alone, I hope to get some of the gallery done today...that is, after I spend some time outside on this beautiful day, doing a bit of gardening on the deck. Pics to come soon, I promise!
