2011 Resolutions

I've never been one to make resolutions, but this year, I decided to give it a try:

365 Challenge {one photo every day for a year}; so far, so good!

 Join a new small group {we're having trouble deciding between 2 different churches, so the jury is still out on that one}.

Stop collecting clutter {My husband is a big fan of this resolution ;) I am a thrift store/yard sale fiend and I have trouble saying "no" to fun finds for future DIY projects...but I need to collect less stuff or we're going to have to move to a bigger apartment, just to store all of my junk little gems!}.

So, what are your New Year's Resolutions for 2011?

Our Guest Room/Office closet: yikes!
This is clearly the BEFORE picture. Stay tuned for the AFTER...
{and FYI that hideous "Arizona" pillow was a gift!}

Breakfast at Starbucks with my little sister, just before dropping her off at the airport.
She flew to Miami Beach for her wedding this Friday! The hubs & I are flying down tomorrow. :)

:: Don't forget to enter this week's CSN giveaway! It ends January 8th at 11:50pm EST ::

girl....what are those chevron pillows doing cramped up on there. I'll take em off your hands though it looks like Lynett beat me too it!

PS---YOU HAVE TO (this is an order) check out Chez Georgette in WC. I know I have told you to go before but I think you will love it. Plus...everything in the store right now is 40% off---Christmas is 50%. Not sure how long the sale lasts but its such a fun store. maybe I will just have to drag you there myself.

I spy some great chevron pillows in the closet! Those are great resolutions! For whatever reason, I didn't have any this year. Maybe my resolution should be to have resolutions!

good ones. we go to a small group at a church that we no longer attend. we love the group, but we feel like cheaters on both the new and old church. I wish I would have thought to do the 365 project. Maybe I'll start a few days late.

I don't know if you'd call it a resolution, but I have declared 2011 the year of the purge. Sounds like I have a similar problem to yours AND it sounds like my husband and yours could form a united front. Good luck to you and wish me luck. So far so good, my plan of attack is to go room by room and sort unwanteds into bags for the consignment store, the mission, and the clothing collection bins on the side of the road. 2 rooms down six to go!

I just discovered you blog & loved it. I'm an interior designer from Melbourne, Australia & I found it very inspiring. Blogging is all new to me but I have just set up my own blog
You may like to check it out because I had so much fun doing it. It's got a bit of everything fashion, interiors, food, travel spots - hopefully you will find something in there that you like.
Thanks for providing me with such great entertainment!
