I have to be honest...I have mixed feelings about Anthropologie's new Bridal Collection,
BHLDN. They just look a little too unrealistic. It seems like they were aiming for "vintage" but achieved "grandma's hand-me-downs". There are a few dresses that may be doable, but the rest have me wondering if brides who do select them are going to look at their wedding pictures a few years down the road and exclaim
"OH MY GOSH, why did my bridesmaids let me do this?!?!?"
However, here are a few dresses that I do think are pretty cute:
And although I'm not particularly fond of their wedding dresses, I love love love their accessories! Here are some of their lovely goods:
They even have lingerie!
What are your thoughts on the BHLDN line?
Does anyone else think that B-H-L-D-N is way too long of a name to be catchy? ;)
I'm am loving the Anthro bridal line... such fun and unique stuff! I think they want you to call the store "Beholden" they just took out the vowels in all of the print to make it different.
ReplyDeleteyeah I think the store is supposed to be called Beholden, from what I have read in reviews. I am totally in love with their bride style, a little quirky and non traditional. It is totally my style
ReplyDeleteoh goodness, then why not just call it beholden? :p
ReplyDeleteI love those scalloped peep toe shoes! The cutest!
ReplyDeleteyeah, I would wear all of these, but not to my wedding
ReplyDeleteIt's a dutch word I think. That being said, Anthro is an american company and how many americans speak dutch? I happen to love 98% of what I see on the new website...but then again I do wish all dressed like our grandmother's did (such class and style in the days of Audrey, Coco and Grace)!
ReplyDeleteOh L.L.L!...btw that's as in Lindsay McGowen. I signed in with my husbands name. :) woops~!
ReplyDeleteI actually LOVE it..but i dont think i can rock it though! hehe
