Working Wardrobe

I have a new job! You are now looking at the Assistant Principal of a private preschool in Pennsylvania ~ woohoo! To celebrate, I've decided to add to my wardrobe. The dress code for the position is not surprising {no sandals or open-toed shoes, nothing sleeveless, no jeans}. However, boots, tights, and leggings are all acceptable. Hurray for cute, comfy, and semi-casual clothes! So, here are some of the items I'm thinking about purchasing:

Old Navy

Old Navy

Charlotte Russe

Old Navy

Kohl's

Old Navy

Urban Outfitters

Target

I really like the aforementioned stores because most of their clothes are trendy as well as inexpensive.

Hey, I'm an assistant principal, not a neurosurgeon! ;)

What are your go-to stores for fashionable, yet thrifty clothing?

  1. Congrats on the new job! That's awesome! :) I buy lots of clothes at Macy's after they go on sale. I don't ever spend more than $20 on a piece. I also found jackpot stuff at Liz Claiborne outlet this past weekend. Lots of springy tops for $9.99! Good luck!

I love those clothes! We have the same taste. I usually just shop at Old Navy or Marshalls or Ross. Sometimes I like Target too.

  8. Congrats!! Very exciting. We definitely shop at the same places. I just can't bring myself to shop elsewhere. I am always thinking how much I can get for the price of that one top from the higher priced store. I do splurge occasionally.

  10. I love the Target shoes -- they remind me of a pair of Elizabeth and James shoes I've been loving but can't commit to price-wise. Great find!

Hmmm...I gotta say I love Gap's new pants. They've redone the fits and they're really, really good.
